Giving Back: Dressing Day & Summer of Caring

AUGUST 31 · THE NEW STORE
Richland County Children's Auxiliary Dressing Day
On August 31st, KM&M and CPAAGI staff volunteered at the Richland County Children's Auxiliary's annual Dressing Day, part of The New Store program. Each August, this program gives children in kindergarten through 8th grade the opportunity to shop for brand-new school clothes — completely free of charge to their families. Our staff members were paired one-on-one with children, helping them shop the store and pick out the clothes, books, backpacks, and supplies they need to start the school year with confidence.
The New Store serves approximately 1,000 Richland County students each year with the help of more than 400 volunteers — and this year, the Auxiliary also launched the High School Hub at Mansfield Senior High, extending this support to high school students in need. This is an annual tradition for our firm, and it's one of our favorite days of the year. To learn more, visit thenewstore.org.
AUGUST 12 · UNITED WAY OF RICHLAND COUNTY
Summer of Caring
Each year, KM&M and CPAAGI participates in the United Way of Richland County's Summer of Caring, a season-long initiative that brings together companies, volunteers, and community partners for hands-on service projects across our area. This year, on August 12th, our team volunteered at Catholic Charities, where we cleaned up the property, mulched the flower beds, and helped remodel the food pantry.
We're grateful for the opportunity to support the organizations that do so much for our neighbors in Richland County. To learn more about Summer of Caring, visit unitedwayofrichlandcounty.org.
